Sadly Wavetop is not suitable for anyone with a physical disability as there is no lift. Please view our full access statement on the Stay page. If you have a disability or condition and would like to chat through anything to do with specific needs please don't hesitate to get in touch.

From the level car park there are thirty two steps to Wavetop; a flight of 8 stairs going down from the car park to a small lower landing and three further flights of 8 stairs going up to the front door. Each of the flights of stairs is well lit at night and has a metal hand rail.  There is no lift.

Sorry, pets are not welcome.

Children are very welcome at Wavetop. Please note it is a top floor penthouse so there are stairs to climb and no lift. 

You may also be interested to know that:

- A travel cot is provided 

- Ikea high chair is provided

- Plastic plates, cups and cutlery are available

- Non slip bath mat is provided

- Kids buckets and spades are available for use

Please note prams cannot be left at the bottom of the stairs or outside the apartment but there is plenty of room inside in the wide spacious hallway.

Note, while we have provided these items for your use, we cannot guarantee that some sadly go missing from time to time.

Check in is from 4pm but if you arrive early and Sally has finished she will be happy to let you in or show you where to park while she finishes off. If we know your apartment should be ready sooner we will contact you as we know everyone is eager to start their holiday as soon as they can. If you are arriving in the evening please let us know so we can arrange for the lights to be on to welcome you.

Check out is 10am which is when our housekeeping team will arrive.  We ask you to kindly take the bins out, put the dishwasher on and strip the beds to help our team with turnaround times.

There is one parking space allocated to our apartment. It is secure and behind a gate that we will provide you with a code for.  An additional car parking space may be rented at a cost of £7 per day (£45 per week).

The train station, which offers a regular train service to St Ives, is five minutes’ walk from Wavetop along a fairly steep road and path. There is a regular bus service from Carbis Bay to St Ives one way or Truro and Penzance the other.  The nearest bus stop is about 600 metres from the apartment at the top of a steep hill.  

The apartment overlooks the sea with a short sloping walk down to the beach via the beach road or through the garden to the beach road  via 17 steps and a sloping gravel path with a series of shallow steps. 

We provide complimentary travel size The White Company body wash and shampoo for you to use.

We care about comfort and made sure to buy top quality mattresses for both bedrooms so you can enjoy a comfy night sleep. There are luxurious new down and feather duvets on all the beds but if you prefer a non-allergenic synthetic duvet, just let us know in good time and we will have them ready for you.

Please note the twin beds in bedroom 2 cannot be made into a double bed.
