Perfectly situated above the sheltered golden sands of Carbis Bay, Wavetop offers you everything you need for a comfortable, stress-free holiday on the gorgeous north Cornish coast. Whether you have young children who like nothing better than to play in the sand, or you and your friends love fine food, art and great walks, Wavetop is a perfect holiday rental for you.
Things to do
The best thing about Wavetop is that it is just a short walk through the gardens and down the Beach Road to one of the safest, sandiest beaches in north Cornwall. If you want to venture further afield, Wavetop is within walking distance, or a short train ride, from St Ives and within easy driving distance of the south Cornish coast, Wavetop is close to everything wonderful in this area of Cornwall known as West Penwith. Explore this ancient landscape at your leisure, amble round the local fishing villages of St Ives, Mousehole and Lamorna, learn about the famous Newlyn school of painting or simply relax on the beach and let the sun, the sand and the sea ease away the stresses of daily life, sure in the knowledge that the children are safe and happy on the golden sands.

Hello, I'm Alison. My connection to St Ives goes back two generations.
My family love St Ives - the light, the sea, the people, the food, the ancient landscape with its chambered tombs and hill forts, the food, the art, the gardens and the crab sandwiches! When Wavetop came on the market 7 years ago, we bought it and have turned it into a home-from-home for other people to enjoy.
